Summer Programs > Camp Maas

Every day at Camp Maas our campers participate in a wonderful variety
of programming on our 1,500-forested acres and two private wooded lakes.
Campers enjoy our four athletic fields, three incredible horseback riding
trails and innumerable hiking trails through our expanse of land. We also
have a beautiful and secluded forest area for our cookouts and sleepovers.
For our older campers we also have an exciting high ropes challenge course.
Through programming, campers learn vital teambuilding skills. We also
have various initiatives and low ropes programs for all of our campers
to challenge themselves and to build a cohesive group dynamic.
Camp
Maas has four villages on our junior side of camp for campers enter 2nd-5th
grade. In each cabin there are usually eight campers living with up to
three staff members. We also have seven villages on senior side of camp,
which houses camper’s entering grades 6 through 9. Our senior side
campers starting with entering 7th graders live in cabins separate from
their counselors to promote peer learning. Their counselors live in adjacent
cabins for supervisory purposes.
Each village has its own lodge, which includes toilets, showers, an office
and a meeting area for the village to have indoor programs. Also each
village has its own fire pit in order to have village cookout dinners
and other bonding activities.
Camp Maas, with its 1,500 forested acres and two sparkling lakes, is
uniquely designed for both children and teens entering 2nd - 9th grades.
Superb recreational facilities and equipment - softball, basketball, tennis,
go-carts, rock climbing, horseback riding, video, photography, R.O.P.E.S.
course, water-skiing, sailing, kayaking, canoeing and gymnastics - offer
unforgettable recreational opportunities for all ages.
Combining
wonderful activities with outdoor adventure, Jewish culture and good old-fashioned
fun, Camp Maas provides an exceptional experience to children.
All campers eat at a centralized dining room with a gorgeous view of
Lake Radin. The food service is kosher.
Parents may choose the best length of time to guarantee
the finest summer experience possible for their child.
