1,500 Private Wooded Acres: With this vast private area,
the surrounding woods, lakes and trails make Camp Maas a peaceful, serene
and secluded wilderness setting for all camp activities.
Junior
Side Villages (entering 2nd-5th grades): Shiffman, Applebaum,
Deroy and Fishman Villages make up Junior Side. Bathrooms and counselors
quarters are available in each cabin. Each village has a central lodge
for groups to meet and play. Showers are available either in the cabin
or centrally located in the lodge.
Senior Side Villages (entering 6th – 9th grades):
Sheruth, Levison, Berman, Hermelin, Ruach, Pioneer and Specialty make
up Senior Side. Bathroom and shower facilities are located in the main
lodge for each village. With the older campers, counselors have separate
accommodations to help promote growth and independence within the bunk.

Radin Lake: Centrally located to all villages. Water-skiing,
tubing, body boarding, sailing, kayaking and more can all be found on
this spacious and private lake. Swimming, fishing and a variety of water
toys such as the Blob and the Iceberg provide hours of fun, skill development
and recreation. Junior Side and Senior Side each have their own beach
and boat docks.

at Maas offers something for everyone.

R.O.P.E.S./Adventure Challenge Course: Facilities include an
extensive set of group obstacles, a rock climbing structure, a Zip-Line

petting zoo, log cabins, barns, country kitchen, general store, museum,
one-room schoolhouse, maple syrup shack and other pioneer structures make
this turn of the century replica a favorite.

all ages. Environmental
programs, stargazing, berry picking and Judaic content are all combined
into fun outdoor activities at our “Teva” center.
Tamarack Lake: This shallow lake and its marsh are home
to many small animals and water birds. A nature trail allows easy access
for fun programs like “Life in a Log”, catching toads and
our famous Swamp Walk!

access to each side of camp, these two arts & crafts centers keep
campers busy with activities like ceramics, wood working, tie-dye, paper
maché, lanyards, copper enamel and toe-weaving.

all groups. All food is kosher and under Rabbinic supervision. Our camp
follows a “No Nut” policy.

of all staff and campers.
Charfoos Administration Building: The center of our
busy summer happens here! Friendly and attentive staff will work diligently
throughout the day to make sure mail, phone calls, faxes, email and all
daily business get taken care of promptly and efficiently.

Trip
Center: Getting ready to travel north, south, east or west, Trip
Center and its staff are the heart and soul of our tripping program. From
here the campers prepare for their overnight, cookout, backpacking or
canoeing trips ranging from 1 to 4 nights.
Campfire Sites: Who doesn’t like campfire stories
and S’mores? Located in close proximity to every village unit, our
campfire pits are used for cookouts, story time and campfire fun and relaxation.
Go-Kart
Track: This ¼ mile track and 10 go-carts provide our older
campers the opportunity to learn a new skill and have fun at the same
time. The track and go-carts are inspected throughout the day and our
trained staff keeps a diligent watch over the track to ensure a safe time
for all.
Barnett Mass Media Building: Whether it’s digital photography,
computer enhancing or making a video, campers love the creative opportunities
available at our Multi Media Center.

skits and talent shows are presented. Excellent acoustics.
