For Campers Entering 11th Grade

Tamarack's TSS summer is all about Transition…the transition from camper to staff. The TSS experience has a mixed purpose: to be a summer of training and to provide TSS with the skills necessary to become a successful, future staff member at Tamarack Camps. This program is limited. Potential TSS must go through an interview process before being accepted. Community Service hours are available for all participants. For TSS the summer is the coming together of the past, present & future at Tamarack:

What TSS Do…

• Help teach activities (rotating specialty areas)
• Become a Counselor Assistant (working in a camp village)
• Help plan and implement camp-wide programs and theme days each session
• Learn how to be future staff members at Tamarack camps
• Set the tone for tradition and spirit at camp
• Participate in workshops in camp safety, policies, programming and working with campers
• Have the best summer of their lives!
