Year-Round Programs > Butzel Conference Center

Butzel Conference Center specializes in meeting the needs of groups of 100 or less. Located close to major Michigan cities such as Detroit, Flint, Lansing and Ann Arbor, it is an easy commute to this beautiful, serene private setting where your group has exclusive use of the entire facility. The beauty of this private wooded acreage and the private lakes makes you feel miles from the ordinary.
Whether it is a corporate outing, family reunion, wedding, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, or a professional retreat, the Butzel Conference Center is committed to providing the best service possible. Our unique facility offers great flexibility and freedom for your event, offering opportunities for a day program or a residential retreat. Since the Butzel Conference Center adjoins the Tamarack Outdoor Education Center, groups also have access to trails, water sports and other leisure activities. Our professional staff is available to design a program to meet your specific needs.
Our facilities include a large Pavilion with four meeting/breakout rooms. We have audiovisual equipment (including a “big screen” TV and VCR) available for your use. Groups are encouraged to bring additional AV equipment.
Surrounding the Pavilion are three Guest Houses, each containing 8 comfortable guest rooms with private bathrooms. The guestrooms all have a queen size bed, and a single bed. Additional beds may be requested. Each guesthouse has a central gathering area with a fireplace for relaxing in the evening.
The conference center offers customized, delicious meals prepared by our own food service professionals and served in our beautiful dining room overlooking the lake. Continuous coffee and tea and a fruit bowl are included for all groups. To best meet the needs of our diverse clientele, all meals are prepared and served in accordance with the Jewish Kosher Dietary Laws.
